Bombay Bicycle Club announce first album in six years

The reunited Bombay Bicycle Club released their first new song in five years, “Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You),” last month, and now they have announced their new album, Everything Else Has Gone Wrong, due January 17 via Caroline International/Island (pre-order). The album was produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen, etc), and it includes the new single, which has a new Louis Bhose-directed video out today.

The band says, “This is an album for anyone who’s ever turned to music in a time of crisis, whether personal or political. It’s about the solace one can get from listening to music or playing music when everything else has gone wrong. It’s about finding kernels of hope and renewal in dire situations.”

Bombay Bicycle Club also added new UK/Ireland dates with The Big Moon and Liz Lawrence for 2020. That follows this fall’s North American tour and UK tour, the latter of which celebrates the 10th anniversary of Bombay Bicycle Club’s debut album.

As mentioned, the North American tour includes NYC shows at Brooklyn Steel on 10/7 (sold out) and 10/8 (tickets). All dates are listed below.
