Bon Iver releases new album 'i,i' early (listen)

Bon Iver has digitally released every song on his upcoming album i,i except the 31-second intro track “Yi,” and he put out a video for each song, following the worldwide listening parties for the new album that were held last night. The whole album will be released digitally on at midnight (8/9) via Jagjaguwar, three weeks ahead of its planned release date. (The physical release is still scheduled for August 30.) Listen and watch the videos for all currently released songs below.

Some of the newly-released songs have big-name guests, including “iMi” (ft. James Blake, Polica, Aaron Dessner, Velvet Negroni, and others), “Naeem” (with Naaem fka Spank Rock, Bryce Dessner, and others), and “Holyfields,” (with Jenn Wasner of Wye Oak/Flock of Dimes and others). Bon Iver has also previously shared a different version of “Naeem” with his collaboration with TU Dance.

Bon Iver is also gearing up an arena tour, including Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 11 with Yo La Tengo (tickets). He recently released a documentary previewing that tour.
