Bonny Light Horseman — the supergroup of Tony winner Anais Mitchell (currently 7 months pregnant), Eric D Johnson (Fruit Bats), and The National/Craig Finn/Hiss Golden Messenger collaborator Josh Kaufman — just released their debut album and have been celebrating on a short run of Northeast dates this week, hitting Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on Thursday night. They played the entirety of their album, plus a few covers including Tim Buckley’s “Buzzin’ Fly.” Eric joked that since it was Bob Marley’s birthday they should cover “No Woman No Cry,” but it was not to be. They did however, for the encore, cover traditional folk song “Wild Mountain Thyme” with help from opener Erin Rae. You can check out the setlist below and pictures are in the gallery above.

Their tour wraps up this weekend with shows at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock tonight and Burlington, VT on Saturday. They’re also taping a segment for CBS This Morning: Saturday which will air Saturday, February 15.
