Bonobo remixed George FitzGerald’s “Full Circle” (listen); Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival starts tonight

George FitzGerald in LA this week (via)
Berlin-based producer George FitzGerald released his excellent debut album Fading Love earlier this year on Domino imprint Double Six. If you haven't heard it, it injects an emotional songwriting element into George's electronic roots (not too unlike last year's DJ Dodger Stadium album) and it's very worth seeking out. Recently, the great Bonobo offered up a remix of "Full Circle" (ft. Boxed In) from that album which is out now as a single on Domino. That remix is just as worth hearing, and you can check it out below.
George is on a US tour now, hitting NYC TONIGHT (11/6) at Good Room with FIXED's JDH & Dave P for the first official night of Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival. The pre-parties were last night (anyone catch one?) but the multi-venue festival begins in full today.
Other highlights include Detroit house vet MK at Output tonight, Django Django at Verboten on Saturday, Floating Points (11-piece live band) at MHOW on Saturday, Voices From the Lake (live) at Good Room on Saturday, and still plenty more. You can check out the full schedule and get tickets (for individual shows or the whole fest) HERE.
