Boston Hassle Fest 2016 day 1 pics (Silver Apples, Rhys Chatham, Bill Nace, more)

Boston's Hassle Fest went down this past weekend on Friday (11/4) and Saturday (11/5), and we've got pictures of the first day in the gallery above. Willis Earl Beal was supposed to play but apparently he didn't show up, but Friday otherwise included the Bill Nace / Jake Meginsky / Steve Baczkowski trio, the Rhys Chatham / Kevin Shea / Tim Dahl trio, psychedelic legends Silver Apples, indie duo Girlpool (who had a drummer this time), Hardly Art signees Ian Sweet, and more.
