Brainiac announced an LA reunion show with film screening & special guest Fred Armisen

The Brainiac documentary, Transmissions After Zero, premiered at SXSW in March and has screened around the country since. The film makes its Los Angeles premiere at The Regent on July 18 and surviving members of the band will play live following the screening with Fred Armisen, who is interviewed in the film, sititng in with the band. There’s also a post-screening Q&A with director Eric Mahoney and editor Ian Jacobs and tickets are on sale.

If you missed the NYC screenings back in April, it’s screening again at Brooklyn’s Alamo Drafthouse on July 31 with a filmmakers Q&A to follow (tickets).  There are also screenings in Columbus at the Wexner Center for the Arts on August 9 & 10.
