Brand New share "Out of Range" (listen)

Brand New just put out a 7″ for their song “Mene,” and the b-side is an exclusive track, “Out of Range” (which has appeared online as a demo before). It’s a drumless song, driven just by clean electric guitars, and it’s Brand New alright. Their unique mix of lower, morose vocals leading the way with higher-pitched shouts in the background is in full effect here, and it’s even more proof that Brand New remain at the top of their game. Earlier this year, the band released a new single and reworked some 2006 demos. They’re currently on tour with Modest Mouse, and recently played MSG. Our fingers are still crossed for album #5.
