Britta Phillips playing free NYC show with Dean Wareham before opening for Luna
After more than 30 years in music, Britta Phillips of Luna and Dean & Britta (both with her husband Dean Wareham) released her solo debut, Luck or Magic. She’s since announced some live dates in support of the album.
She was added as an opener to Luna‘s Brooklyn show on May 27 at The Bell House, which also features Heaven and is sold out. That’s one of three NYC shows on Luna’s tour, including two at Rough Trade in October. Those other two are sold out too.
The night before the Bell House show, Britta will play a FREE headlining show at Rough Trade (5/26) with Dean on guitar and special guests. She hits the stage at 7 PM with no opener. No word yet if you need a wristband or RSVP.
