Brittany Howard playing playing 2020 BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival kickoff show
The BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival will kick off its 2020 season with a free concert by Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard on June 9 at Prospect Park Bandshell. Gates open at 7 PM and the show’s at 8:30. More info is here.
While Celebrate Brooklyn hasn’t announced this year’s lineup of free shows, there have been a number of ticketed benefit shows announced already, including: Big Thief and Sheer Mag on July 30; Angel Olsen and Mount Eerie on July 22; Bikini Kill on August 4; David Gray (celebrating The White Ladder‘s 20th Anniversary) on August 18; and the Ziggy Marley & Stephen Marley Bob Marley Celebration on August 20.
