Britty Drake leaves Pity Sex

Pity Sex released their sophomore album White Hot Moon earlier this year via Run For Cover, and recently wrapped up a tour in support of it. In sad news, co-frontperson Britty Drake, who sings lead on some of the best Pity Sex songs, has left the band. She announced her departure via Twitter:

UPDATE: The band has now released a statement, which mentions that their final show with Britty is 8/18 in Grand Rapids opening for Best Coast:
