Broken Beak, another band featuring Modern Baseball co-frontman Brendan Lukens, are set to release their debut LP Some Nerve this Friday (7/1) via Near Mint Records, and they're now streaming their album ahead of the release.

Just like Brendan doesn't shy away from opening up about his personal struggles and insecurities in Modern Baseball, Broken Beak singer Beau Brynes takes a similar honest approach with this album. Besides his relatable lyrics, what draws you in is how seamlessly Broken Beak can flow between gritty sounds and softer ones. Stream the full album below (via Stereogum)

Broken Beak are touring in support of the new album, including some dates with The Hotelier and Joyce Manor. They're playing a show with Sharpless, Island of Misfit Toys, For Everest and Vasudeva in Brooklyn at Sunnyvale on July 8. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
