Broken Social Scene played The Meadows (pics, setlist), announce Brooklyn Steel show
Broken Social Scene played The Meadows on Sunday (9/17), which was their first NYC show since releasing their great new album Hug of Thunder. While Feist was not there, Emily Haines and Amy Milan were and their set had old favorites like “Cause=Time” and “7/4 (Shoreline)” and new ones such as “Protest Song” and Hug of Thunder‘s title track. Now that The Meadows is behind us, Broken Social Scene have announced a headlining NYC show as part of their fall tour. They’re playing Brooklyn Steel on October 4 with The Belle Game. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, September 22 at 10AM with presales beginning Wednesday (9/20) at 10 AM.
