Broken Social Scene recently announced that their first album in seven years, Hug of Thunder, would be out July 7 via City Slang/Arts & Crafts, and now a second song -- the title track -- is out from it. This is one of the songs that BSS wrote with Feist, who sings lead here. Compared to Feist's raw, dark new album, this is a bright-sounding song that may bring you right back to the early/mid 2000s. Listen below.

The band will be in NYC to play this year's The Meadows festival, and after that they're touring with Frightened Rabbit. All dates are listed below.

Feist is also touring this year.

Frightened Rabbit also have dates with Torres, including Brooklyn Steel on May 30 (tickets).
