Brooklyn's Skyline Drive-In movie theatre opens this weekend (initial schedule)

Greenpoint, Brooklyn’s Skyline Drive-In opens this weekend. While they announced originally that movies would only be shown Fridays and Saturday, Skyline looks to be screening every day, with the first movie being Raiders of the Lost Ark on Sunday, June 14, followed by John Hughes classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on Monday (6/15), baseball comedy Major League on Tuesday (6/16), and 1984’s Footloose on Wednesday (6/17), Dreamgirls on Thursday (6/18), and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy on Friday (6/19).

Also on Skyline’s initial schedule: Grease, Plains Trains & Automobiles, Crocodile Dundee, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Gladiator, Forrest Gump, Braveheart, What Men Want, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and Mean Girls. Check out the full initial Skyline Drive-In schedule below.

Tickets are $50 per car plus tax. You can bring your own food, but they do ask that you take your trash with you. Skyline is also planning on having some seating for those of us without cars, but that is still to come. Learn more at Skyline’s website.

Skyline Drive-In is located at 1 Oak Street right by the Brooklyn Expo Center with a view of Manhattan right behind the screen.
