Party goers will also get a sneak peak at the 2nd season Oxygen tattoo show "Best Ink".

Earlier this year, Oxygen greenlit a second season of "Best Ink," which will join the network's schedule in 2013. Combining his raw musical talent, unique personal style and love for tattoos, Pete Wentz has been tapped to host the new season. Best known for his musical accomplishments with Fall Out Boy, Wentz will help guide the contestants through the competition and serve as a passionate and business-savvy role model. "Best Ink" is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions...

Look for their interactive photo and video booth exclusively at the BrooklynVegan Saturday SXSW Day Party, especially if you have a tattoo.

Those who show up will also get a chance to test out (and possibly win) the brand new Onkyo headphones before they hit stores next month. Onkyo will also be giving away some other awesome prizes on site at our parties all week AND you can head to their Facebook page now for the chance to win an Onkyo LS3100 Envision Cinema Bluetooth Home Theater Audio System or a pair of the new Onkyo headphones.

Bands will be well-equipped thanks to our generous and long-term backline sponsors Korg, Vox & Blackstar.

Keeping your mobile device charged at SXSW is always a challenge. BrooklynVegan will stay powered up all week thanks to mophie, who will also be on-site at our events, giving away passes and discount cards to the "mophie Mobile Shop" that will be conveniently located right down the street all week at 519 East 7th St.

Also happy to have Zazoo on board with us at this party. Zazoo is a new web application that embeds an artist's unique 'Mini App' onto music videos. It definitely makes watching YouTube videos a much more interesting and useful experience. Download the Chrome extension now.

Thanks also to Creative Recreation (who will be giving out sneakers on site), Signazon (who printed our banners, and Redigi (a place to buy used MP3s) (seriously).

In addition to these parties, we also have three official night events going on, including our official showcase on Friday night, a Friday show with Omar Souleyman, Black Lips, Deer Tick, and more, and the official BrooklynVegan/Invisible Oranges metal showcase on Saturday. Invisible Oranges is also representing with metal at our Friday day party. Stay tuned for the rest of the day party lineups coming SOON.
