Bruce Springsteen released Western Stars earlier this year, and there's a companion film on the way where he plays the album in full, backed by band and a full orchestra under the cathedral ceiling of his "historic nearly 100-year-old barn." Springsteen co-directed the film with frequent collaborator Thom Zimny, and it will make its debut at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival in September with a North American theatrical release later this fall. If you went to see Springsteen-centric film Blinded by the Light this weekend you may have already seen the trailer for Western Stars, and it's now online to stream as well. Watch below.

Meanwhile, historical exhibit Springsteen: His Hometown is coming to Brunce's actual hometown of Freehold, NJ in September.
