As mentioned earlier today, Charles Bradley sadly had to cancel his tour due to his cancer returning, including his appearance at this Saturday’s beer and music festival OctFest in Brooklyn. We are sad he’s not going to perform (get better, Charles!) but they got a pretty great replacement to fill his slot: Built to Spill.

The festival, which is presented by Pitchfork, also includes Guided by Voices, Okkervil River, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, The Sadies, and Kilo Kish, and there will be over 40 breweries in attendance. It goes down at The Brooklyn Hanger (9/9), starting at 1 PM. Craze appear to be giving away free tickets (and there are also $60 tickets available). Set times below.

Built to Spill also play Keep It Like A Secret in full at Riot Fest (and they have a Riot Fest aftershow with Dinosaur Jr), and they back Daniel Johnston at his final Portland and Vancouver shows.

3:00: The Pains of Being Pure at Heart
