Bully touring, playing House of Vans women's skate workshops after SXSW
Bully are heading to SXSW soon, where, among other things, they’ll play an official BrooklynVegan night show with Ted Leo, Wye Oak, and Bodega as part of the Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion. Right after SXSW, they’re heading to the Brooklyn and Chicago House of Vans locations for “Get on Board: A Celebration of Women’s Skateboarding Open Skate and Concert.” Here are the details:
Get on board and join Vans for a celebration of Women’s Skateboarding. Vans invites women of all ages to learn something new alongside their peers and together inspire a new way of women’s skateboarding progression.
House of Vans Brooklyn will host workshops dedicated to women and girls to learn how to build a skate deck with private skate lessons with Vans global skate team athlete, Lizzie Armanto alongside Vans Brand Ambassador, Atita Verghese from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. PST. Workshops and skate lessons will be open to the first 66 women via RSVP. House of Vans will also host a photo show led by female artists along with a video screening, panel discussion, giveaways and more!
Beginning at 8:30 p.m., House of Vans will open its doors to the general public for an open skate jam and will end the night with an epic live performance by Bully.
The Brooklyn show happens March 16 and the Chicago show is March 17. RSVP for BK and Chi are open now. All Bully dates are listed below.
