Burger Records just announced the initial lineup for the 2019 edition of the Burger Boogaloo which happens July 6 & 7 at Mosswood Park in Oakland, CA. This is the 10 year anniversary of the festival, which is again hosted by John Waters who says, "Burger Boogaloo is the perfect cult gathering of young and old music rebels who hate everybody in the world except each other. Being asked to host this lunatic festival for the fifth year in a row makes me feel all warm and scuzzy inside."

Performers this year include The Jesus and Mary Chain, Australian punk/proto-grunge band The Scientists, Shannon and the Clams, Sheer Mags, Dead Boys, Jayne County & The Electric Chairs, Amyl & The Sniffers, Billy Childish, Derv Gordon of The Equals, and more. Tickets are on sale now. Check out the full announced Burger Boogaloo lineup below.

The Burger Boogaloo staff is also helping to aid Oakland's ongoing housing crisis, partnering with The Homeless Action Center for this year's festival. They're hosting a series of fundraisers both before and during the festival to raise money for those in need and there's a benefit show at Oakland's The Uptown on Friday, January 18 with Shannon Shaw, The Bananas, The Troublemakers, and Trox and The Terribles, with 100% of ticket sales going to the organization.
