The Get Up Kids have been having a great 2018, with the release of their Kicker EP -- their first release in seven years, first for Polyvinyl, and a killer return to form -- and they'll wrap up the year with a New Year's Eve two-night stand in Brooklyn that BrooklynVegan is proudly presenting.

The shows happen 12/30 & 12/31 at Rough Trade and they're part of a four-night Northeast run with support from Active Bird Community (who released their first album for Barsuk this year) and Retirement Party (who released their solid debut album this year). Tickets for the Brooklyn shows go on sale Thursday (10/25) at noon with a BrooklynVegan presale starting Wednesday (10/24) at 10 AM. Check back here Wednesday morning for the password.

The Get Up Kids also play The Fest in Gainesville this weekend and have a run with Remember Sports in November. All dates are listed below.

Before the New Year's run, Get Up Kids keyboardist James Dewees is taking his Reggie and the Full Effect project on a solo tour with support from Hot Rod Circuit frontman Andy Jackson, including a show at Brooklyn's Saint Vitus on 12/21 (tickets). In January, Get Up Kids/Anniversary offshoot Radar State (featuring Get Up Kids co-frontmen Matt Pryor and Jim Suptic and Anniversary frontman Josh Berwanger) are going on tour, including stops at Saint Vitus on 1/25 (tickets) and Asbury Park Brewery on 1/26 (tickets).
