Brooklyn band Caged Animals will soon return with a new album, their first since 2013's In the Land of Giants. Details are still forthcoming but they've shared first single "Wildflowers" which was inspired by the birth of frontman Vincent Caccione's daughter. "My mind was swimming with nature," says Caccione. "Becoming a parent made me understand something about the power of each individual. How we transcend our humble beginnings and make our live’s meaningful." "Wildflower" has all the earmarks of a Caged Animals track: tuneful, heartfelt and hopeful. Stream it below.

Caged Animals will play NYC's Mercury Lounge tonight (8/26) with The Walters, Pop & Obachan, and The Symposium. Tickets are on sale.
