Glasgow’s Camera Obscura have been making charming indiepop for nearly 20 years, most recently on 2013’s Desire Lines. The band toured with She & Him last year but are back for a short headlining trek as we speak, including two NYC shows with Laura Cantrell opening. The first of those was last night (7/15) at Le Poisson and we’ve got pictures and setlist from that in this post.

We’re lucky to have them here as bassist Gavin Dunbar has his hands very full with a five-month-old son, which he talked about with Impose. Tonight (7/16), Camera Obscura and Laura Cantrell play Music Hall of Williamsburg, which is sold out. More pics from the LPR show below…
