Canadian punks dube have a new single "Stoned Love," touring

Ottawa punks dubé are a trio of three brothers (Liam, Jig and Quinn Dubé), two of whom are still in their teens, and they’ve only got a few songs released at the moment (plus a faithful cover of Nirvana’s “Breed” and a fuzzed out cover of Post Malone’s “Rockstar”), but it’s already clear that they’re a talented bunch. They’re a tight, loud band, and they don’t shy away from crisp production or big hooks. Their newest song is “Stoned Love,” which sounds like it could’ve been a minor hit in 1996 but isn’t overtly retro. We’ve got the premiere of the song and its video, which you can check out alongside some older videos, below.

Having already toured a bunch in their home country, they’re coming to the U.S. this April and May to open for UK rockers Counterfeit. The tour includes a Brooklyn show on May 1 at Knitting Factory (tickets).

While they’re here, dubé also play the Northern Invasion festival with Tool, A Perfect Circle, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Andrew WK, Anti-Flag, The Bronx, Mutoid Man, and more, where they should go over very well. All dates are listed below.
