Candiria playing Studio at Webster with So Hideous & Tiger Flowers, opening for Killswitch Engage at Bowery

Reunited Brooklyn metal/hip-hop/jazz/hardcore polymaths Candiria, who signed to Metal Blade last year, have a couple NYC shows coming up. They’ve announced an all-NYC metal show at The Studio at Webster Hall on April 7, with support from Brooklyn symphonic black metal outfit So Hideous, post-hardcore band Tiger Flowers, and the death/thrash outfit Alekhine’s Gun (no, not the PS4 game). So Hideous had claimed that they were done playing NYC for 2016, but apparently this is not the case. Tickets for that show are on sale now.

Candiria are also opening for Killswitch Engage at their show at Bowery Ballroom on March 7, which is one of five NYC shows the mall-metal giants have coming up. That show is sold out.
