Cassandra Jenkins

Cassandra Jenkins streaming debut LP, made two videos for "Candy Crane"

NYC singer/songwriter Cassandra Jenkins released her debut album, Play Till You Win, last week and we’re now premiering two different videos for the album’s opening track, “Candy Crane.” One is made up of amateur-style shots of carnival games, and the other stars Cassandra singing in a basketball court, unfazed as a game goes on around her (with the lyrics on-screen). The song itself is a delicate, dreamy song with some George Harrison-style lead guitar. Watch the videos and stream the whole album below.

Cassandra also has some shows coming up, including a record release party in her hometown this Saturday (4/15) at Union Pool with Aerial East, Michael Rocketship and DJ Andrew Raposo (tickets). All dates are listed below.

Cassandra’s album features contributions from Ethan Bassford, Adam Brisbin, Andy Clausen, Michael Coleman, Charles Colwell, Ian McLellan Davis, Julian Fader, Oliver Hill, Dan Iead, Reid & Stephanie Jenkins, Alexandra Jones, Lola Kirke, Robbie Lee, Aoife O’Donnovan, Sam Owens, James Preston, Alec Spiegelman, Curt Syndor, Austin Vaughn, and Renata Zeiguer.
