Cassavetes releasing debut LP on Black Numbers, touring with Save Ends (dates & stream)

Cassavetes

Philly’s Cassavetes have been making their way around their hometown’s scene (and the surrounding area), playing shows there with other local bands like The Menzingers, Nothing, and plenty of others. Maybe you caught them in NYC last week at Sick Feeling’s Trans Pecos residency. As mentioned, they’ll be back in NYC this week for a show at Suburbia on Saturday (7/26) with NYC regulars Chumped, Montreal’s Laureate, and the Tiny Engines-signed Bostonites Save Ends. That show is part of a short tour with Save Ends. All dates are listed below.

Cassavetes have also now signed to Black Numbers (Placeholder, Muscle & Bone), who will release their debut LP, Oh So Long, this fall. That album’s first single is “Tied Down,” a dose of gruff punk that fans of early Hot Water Music and Small Brown Bike should dig into. Check it out below.
