The Brooklyn painter, who has made album covers for Pavement, Apples in Stereo and more, is showing his work ahead of the release of his first art book, out in June.

For issue 121 of DC’s Batman comic, there will be three limited edition variant covers all featuring illustrations by the late Daniel Johnston. The variants, which feature his drawings of Batman, Superman and Orion, will be out March 1.
