Heavy metal talk show Two Minutes to Late Night can't tape at Saint Vitus as usual right now while the venue is closed and we're all self-isolating, but they have been gathering their talented friends to collaborate (from afar) on covers. We already posted their rendition of Weird Al's Devo parody "Dare to be Stupid," and now they've covered Steely Dan's "Reelin' In The Years." It's an entertaining take on the classic track, with the verses done with classic heavy metal-style riffs and growled vocals, while the choruses remain fairly true to the original. Nate Garrett of Spirit Adrift (and previously of Gatecreeper), Chris Maggio (Wear Your Wounds, Coliseum, Trap Them, High on Fire), Marissa Nadler, and Dave Hill (in his Witch Taint, corpse-paint wearing identity) join 2M2LN house musicians Stephen Brodsky (Cave In, Mutoid Man, etc) and Nick Cageo (Mutoid Man) and host Gwarsenio Hall (Jordan Olds) for the video, which you can watch below.

Meanwhile, Two Minutes have a Patreon, and they recently shared a full set Mutoid Man video from Saint Vitus, with appearances from Gwarsenio Hall and heavy metal drag busker Mrs. Smith.

Also, there's a new Witch Taint video out today:

And speaking of Saint Vitus and quarantine, their Age of Quarantine livestream series continues tonight (4/9) at 8 PM ET with Mike Bruno of Iron Chic.
