Cavity AD

Cavity AD & Come To Grief touring together

Miami sludge vets Cavity, whose lineup once included Torche/Floor frontman Steve Brooks, Black Cobra frontman Jason Landrian, and other Torche/Floor members, reunited in 2015 with the lineup of Rene Barge, Ed Matus, Daniel Gorostiaga, Rick Smith (Torche), and Ryan Weinstein; and the reunion continued after that, undergoing lineup changes and changing this incarnation of the band’s name to Cavity A.D. The lineup of Rene Barge (vocals), Dan Gorostiaga (bass), and Ed Matus (guitar) released the After Death EP in 2017, and that trio is now joined by Andrew McLees (guitar) and Bryan Adams (drums) and recently released the new album Wraith on vinyl (which appears to not be available digitally). Cavity A.D. have now announced a short Northeast tour with Come To Grief (the current incarnation of Boston sludge legends Grief led by founder/guitarist Terry Savastano).

The tour includes a Brooklyn show on June 8 at Saint Vitus (tickets), as well as stops in Philly, Cambridge, and Baltimore (the latter of which is with Murder instead of Come To Grief). All dates are listed below.

Come To Grief also have new-ish material, and you can stream their 2017 EP The Worst of Times below.
