Chairlift & Acrylics are playing a free show at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on Wednesday (12/22) (RSVP required).

Also coming up at Knitting Factory: A New Year’s Eve Felabration! with the FELA! Band (featuring members of Antibalas), Sahr Ngaujah (FELA) and the FELA! Dancers. Tickets are on sale.

Speaking of FELA!, you don’t have many more chances to see the Broadway play (it closes January 2nd).

Noah & the Whale aren’t nearly as big as their Grammy-nominated friends in Mumford & Sons, but they did just add a 2nd Bowery Ballroom show after the first one became close to sold out. Tickets for the 3/21 show go on sale Wednesday at noon.

Slick Rick is opening for Passion Pit on New Years Eve at Wellmont Theater (tickets), and he’s headlining Brooklyn Bowl on 1/14. Tickets are on sale for the latter.
