I could say a lot about this incident, but I don’t see the point. Mike knows what he’s done. We’ve spoken about it, he’s acknowledged it. However this doesn’t change what he did or the memories that night left me with.

Moynihan also tweeted that he “[accepts] accountability and responsibility for [his] past behaviors” and that he is no longer in Chamber:
Wanted everyone to know that I came to Nikki to accept accountability and responsibility for my past behaviors. In an effort to make everyone feel safe and comfortable I am no longer a part of the Chamber. https://t.co/Mil8liSw0g

I am taking steps towards learning and understanding how my behavior affects those around me and what steps I can take to become a better man for all the people in my life. I will not leave social media- and I am available for anyone that wants to speak to me.

Anyone who does not wish to know me any longer, I totally understand. I have made my mistakes that cannot be undone and I refuse to sweep this under the rug like a coward. I want to grow. I want to be the best person that I can be. It’s what everyone around me deserves

I am doing my own research on accountability programs and am open to any and all guidance as I navigate through this

I decided to take accountability because I had recognized the damaging potential of my behavior. I have since learned and have since become a better version of myself, but the journey does not end. Hold your friends accountable. Hold yourself accountable. Be better.

In 2018, Chamber parted ways with original vocalist Sam Fleming due to “lingering tension” and he was replaced by Jacob Lilly, who had been playing bass with Chamber’s tourmates Orthodox. The band signed to Pure Noise Records last year and released the Ripping / Pulling / Tearing compilation.
