You may remember that rapper Champagne Jerry recently had a residency in NYC to celebrate the release of his new album The Champagne Room where he turned The Kitchen into the "Champagne Club" and had friends like Beastie Boys' Ad-Rock, Bikini Kill/Le Tigre/Julie Ruin's Kathleen Hanna, Bridget Everett, and more join him. Footage from the Champagne Club has now been turned into the videos for the songs "This Song is For You" and "The Bed Couch Vestibule," which premiere in this post. Champagne Jerry gave us the low-down:

The Bed Couch Vestibule video was shot live at our sold out show at The Kitchen and features the entire Champagne Club (Sophia Cleary, Farris Craddock, Max Tannone and The Ghost of Champagne Past) and me and also you can see me place a small camera down my pants at the beginning of the video so that the audience can see real time "dick cam" footage. The song itself has a beat by Ad Rock and I always introduce it by saying "This is a song about marriage."

The video for "This Song is For You" was shot live at The Kitchen and also contains footage of us doing a tour of a series of Walmart parking lots on our East Coast tour. We performed at a whole series of Walmarts, without their knowledge or participation in Maryland, DC and Virginia and filmed it. One of the Walmarts we stayed in, the car and drove in circles because there were about seven thousand cops there. Other times I did the songs sticking out of the sun roof, next to the cart return, or walking thru the Walmart itself. It was a fun day.

Watch both of those videos below.

You can catch Champagne Jerry as the musical guest on this week's episode of The Chris Gethard Show which airs live on TCGS' Facebook Thursday, May 19 at 8 PM and will then air the following Wednesday (5/25) on Fusion TV. Other guests this week are Paul Scheer and Jason Mantzoukas of How Did This Get Made? (who are here for Vulture Fest).

In other news, Champagne Jerry will play Joe's Pub on September 1 and tickets are on sale.
