We already knew that the Grammy performers this year included Metallica, Adele, a Daft Punk/Weeknd collab, and a Tribe Called Quest/Anderson Paak/
Dave Grohl collab, and now more interesting performances were added.
Chance the Rapper, who's up for seven awards (including Best New Artist and Best Rap Album), will perform. Later this year, he'll headline Governors Ball. According to Fake Shore Drive, he's also planning a 40-date arena tour.
Sturgill Simpson, who's up for Album of the Year against the significantly more popular Adele, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, and Drake, will also perform.
Other newly-added performers include blues rocker Gary Clark Jr (who's touring with Eric Clapton this year), soul vet William Bell, and Little Big Town.
UPDATE: Beyonce, who's up for nine awards (including Album of the Year and Record of the Year), will also perform. With 62 nominations so far, she's the most nominated female artist in Grammy history, according to Billboard. Beyonce revealed yesterday that she's expecting twins with Jay-Z.
UPDATE 2: Apparently Dave Grohl is not playing with ATCQ at the Grammys.
