Brooklyn punks Cheena are prepping their first LP after releasing a handful of singles and playing a handful of shows. Featuring members of Pharmakon, Hank Wood and the Hammerheads, and Crazy Spirit, Cheena will release Spend The Night With… on August 5 via Sacred Bones, and they've shared the first single from that album, which is called "Car."

A filthy slice of garage-rock scuzz, "Car" buries flame-spewing riffage under layers of noise so that it sounds like a sweaty hookup remembered through a haze of alcohol. It kind of sounds like Royal Trux covering Foghat, and you should pretty much know already if that's your bag or not (it probably should be).

As mentioned, Cheena have two upcoming hometown shows: that show with Institute at Palisades on June 9 (tickets), and soon after they'll be at Union Pool on June 17 with Savoy Motel and Nude Beach (tickets). After that, they play Berserktown III in LA.
