Cher & Chic played the hits at Barclays Center (pics, setlists, videos)
Cher is in the midst of her Here We Go Again Tour with CHIC ft. Nile Rodgers, and they played their first of three NYC-area shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center last night (5/2). Cher put on exactly the kind of spectacle you’d expect, with classics from all over her career, from “I Got You Babe” to “If I Could Turn Back Time” to “Believe,” and she also did a few ABBA songs from her recent ABBA covers album (which inspired the name of this tour).
Chic’s opening set was also filled with classics, including Chic’s own “Le Freak,” “Everybody Dance,” “Good Times” (mashed up with “Rapper’s Delight,” which samples “Good Times”), and more, and other classics Nile wrote, produced, or contributed to, like Diana Ross’ “I’m Coming Out” and “Upside Down,” Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family,” and David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance,” as well as as Nile Rodgers’ big recent comeback song: Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.”

The tour hits Newark’s Prudential Center tonight (5/3) and comes back to NYC on December 3 at MSG (tickets).
