Chicago Open Air took 2018 off, but it's now set to return in 2019 on May 18 and 19 at SeatGeek Stadium (fka Toyota Park), which is located in Bridgeview, IL just outside of Chicago. It's now two days instead of three like it was in past years, and the headliners are System Of A Down on day one and Tool on day two. Day one also includes Ghost, Meshuggah, Beartooth, Code Orange, Knocked Loose, and Vein; and day two also includes The Prodigy, Gojira, In This Moment, Fever 333, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Alien Weaponry. It might be a small lineup but it's a solid one (and has less corny bands than these hard rock fests tend to have).

Tickets go on sale Friday (12/14) at noon Central.
