Chris Rock adds new NYC date to tour
Chris Rock announced his "Ego Death World Tour" back in February, over a month before "the slap" entered our national lexicon, and in addition to the two NYC shows it already included (October 6 and 7 at Radio City Music Hall, he's now added a third, happening at the same venue the next night, on October 8 at Radio City Music Hall. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 13 at 10 AM, with various presales starting Tuesday, April 12 at 10 AM.
The three Radio City shows are just a few of the NYC-area dates Chris has coming up - he also has co-headlining shows with Kevin Hart, happening at Jones Beach on July 21, Prudential Center on July 22, Madison Square Garden on July 23, PNC Bank Arts Center on July 24, and Barclays Center on July 25 (tickets).

Speaking of the slap, Will Smith has since apologized and been banned from the Oscars for 10 years in the aftermath, but Chris hasn't said much in response. The Desert Sun reports that he addressed the incident briefly from the stage at his show in Palm Springs on Saturday, saying, "I’m OK, I have a whole show and I’m not talking about that until I get paid. Life is good. I got my hearing back."
