Chromatics releasing new album tomorrow (but it's not 'Dear Tommy')

While we continue to wait on Chromatics to finish their long-in-the-works Dear Tommy, they’ll release an entirely different album tomorrow. It’s titled Closer to Grey, will be out via Italians Do It Better and is their first album since 2012’s Kill for Love. iTunes already has the album listed along with 30-second previews of all the tracks, including the album-opening cover of Simon & Garfunkle’s “Sound of Silence.” There’s upbeat dancefloor tracks like “You’re No Good” and the title track (which dates back to 2014), and many dreamy ethereal numbers too. Chromatics toured North America back in the spring and will head to Europe this week for a month’s worth of dates. On their return they’ll play Miami’s Pérez Art Museum on November 21. All dates are listed below.
