Chromatics have released "Shadow" though Adult Swim Singles Club. The song, on the half-remembered slowdance side of Chromatics' spectrum, is also on their upcoming double LP, Dear Tommy, which is due out sometime soon via Italians Do it Better. (At one point the album was supposed to have been released in March, but the release date is still TBA.) The group's Johnny Jewel says of the song and album:

Everyone has a shadow. There is no real difference between ten years ago and ten seconds ago. Your future determines your past. The flame of nostalgia is a tempting black hole to jump into, but I recognize it as a fantasy. Romance is brave. So is simplicity. Love is a call to war. Why wouldn't you want to respect music? Dear Tommy is the most rebellious record I've made.
