Chvrches singer Lauren Mayberry playing Baby's at Greg Barris' "Heart of Darkness" variety show; Union Hall turns 10
Comedian Greg Barris has been doing his show “Heart of Darkness” (aka “The World’s Most Important Live Event”) for some time, usually at Union Hall, but is moving it to Baby’s All Right for it’s November 3 for a super-sized edition subtitled “Laughter in Darkness.” His guests for this show will be Dave Hill (who’ll be playing music as well as laughing it up), SWEET host Seth Herzog, Seaton Smith, and very special musical guest Lauren Mayberry from Chvrches. Tickets are on sale.
Lauren plays with Chvrches at the slightly bigger Radio City Music Hall on Sunday (10/16, tickets).
Meanwhile, Union Hall is currently celebrating its 10th birthday and they’ve been having special shows all this week. Among them: comedy show “Pullitzer Surprises” on Friday, October 14 (tickets) and the free “Union Hall Talent Show” on Sunday, October 16 where “old and new Union Hall staffers show off their talents and hosts Keith and Therese take a walk down Union Hall memory lane with video tributes.” Check out a flyer below.
