Claire Cronin announces January tour supporting 'Big Dread Moon'

Musician and poet Claire Cronin released Big Dread Moon, the follow-up to her 2016 album with Deerhoof guitarist John Dieterich, Came Down a Storm, via Orindal Records back in June. Full of spare, haunting folk tracks, it’s a perfect album to revisit as winter nears, and you can stream it below.

Claire is playing a few shows supporting Big Dread Moon in January, making a few Texas stops, and hitting New Orleans, with Alex Dupree. She’s also announced an NYC show, which happens at Trans-Pecos on January 14. Matt Bachmann (Mega Bog, Hand Habits) and folk singer Erin Durant open the NYC date, and tickets are on sale now.
