Two great concert films -- 1964's The T.A.M.I. Show and it's follow-up, 1965's The Big T.N.T. Show -- were just released together on one Bluray disc via Shout Factory. Both were concerts specially staged to be filmed, featuring killer lineups of some of the era's biggest names. 1964's The T.A.M.I Show (that's "Teen Age Music International") is especially great, featuring The Beach Boys, Rolling Stones, James Brown, The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Lesley Gore, Gerry & The Pacemakers, and more. The Wrecking Crew were the house band and it's worth owning for the insane James Brown footage alone.

The Big T.N.T. Show, meanwhile, featured The Byrds, Ray Charles, Donovan, Petula Clark, The Lovin' Spoonful, Ike and Tina Turner, The Ronettes, Joan Baez, Roger Miller and more (plus The Man from U.N.C.L.E. star David McCallum, and you can spot Frank Zappa and Sparks' Ron & Russell Mael in the audience). They are both amazing pop time capsules, full of great performances and teenagers screaming their heads off, and you can watch trailers for both below.

Meanwhile, T.N.T Show performer, Ronnettes singer and the voice behind the A Christmas Gift for You From Phil Spector album, Ronnie Spector has her annual NYC holiday shows coming up, including two nights at NYC's City Winery on December 20 & 21 (tickets). Before that, Ronnie plays Carnegie Hall on December 14 which is the "Baby It's Cold Outside: The Revlon Concert for the Rainforest Fund" which is a star-studded lineup including Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Sting, Idina Menzel, Darlene Love, Vittorio Grigolo, Chris Botti and "a few surprises." Tickets, which run from $150 to $600, are still available.
