The 2018 edition of Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival, better known as the Clearwater Festival, happens June 16-17 at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Honoring the legacy of folk musician and activist (and festival founder) Pete Seeger, this is the 40th anniversary of Clearwater and the lineup includes Jeff Tweedy, Margaret Glaspy, The Mavericks, Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Rhiannon Giddens, David Byrne cohorts Choir! Choir! Choir!, Ani DiFranco, and more.
Tickets are on sale now and revenue goes to support “Clearwater’s numerous educational programs and its work toward environmental and social justice—as well as keeping the sloop Clearwater afloat.”
