Philly avant-garde metal band Cleric returned late last year with Retrocausal (which featured contributions from John Zorn, Mick Barr and Timba Harris), their first full-length since their 2010 debut. They came to NYC on Thursday (4/5) in support of the release, for a show at Saint Vitus with tech-death crushers Pyrrhon and heavy metal string quartet (and Dillinger Escape Plan collaborators) Seven)Suns. The bill may seem a little all over the place, but it worked perfectly. Pictures of all three acts are in the gallery above.
