Saturday’s sets included the hip hop duo of Riz Ahmed and HEEMS aka Swet Shop Boys, Mitski, Floating Points, Downtown Boys, Banks & Steelz (aka Paul Banks of Interpol and RZA), Local Natives, Car Seat Headrest, Chicano Batman, The Head and The Heart, Thundercat, Four Tet, Daphni, Floating Points, Two Door Cinema Club, Roisin Murphy (and her many costume changes), Tory Lanez, AFI/No Doubt supergroup DREAMCAR, Future, Royksopp, Tycho, Moderat (who plays NYC and Montreal between Coachella weekends), Schoolboy Q, Warpaint, Bon Iver, Majid Jordan, Nav, DJ Snake, Gucci Mane, Nicolas Jaar, Breakbot, Lady Gaga, Classixx, S U R V I V E, and more.

There were no shortage of special guests on Saturday. Mura Masa brought out Desiigner, Charli XCX, A$AP Rocky, Nao and more. Bishop Briggs played with Banks and Steelz. DJ Snake brought out Migos and Lauryn Hill. Future brought out Ty Dolla Sign, Migos and Drake. Schoolboy Q had Tyler the Creator and A$AP Rocky, Royksopp had IamamIwhoami. As rumored/predicted, Gucci Mane brought out Diddy, Lil Yachty, and Rae Sremmurd (for “Black Beatles”), and The Weeknd protege Nav brought out The Weeknd. Phantogram singer Sarah Barthel played with Local Natives. Thundercat had Michael McDonald (Bon Iver did not).

Weekend 1 of Coachella continues Sunday (4/16), and then the whole fest happens again in a week.
