In the 22 years since Cocteau Twins broke up, Elizabeth Fraser has kept a pretty low profile, making a few guest appearances here and there — like lending her voice to the Lord of the Rings score — but not much else. This year, though, we’ve seen a lot of Liz. She joined Massive Attack for their Mezzanine XXI tour and, as post-punk.com points out, now guested on “The Moon Shines Bright,” a new song by Sam Lee. With its sweeping celtic vibe, the song is perfect for Fraser’s angelic voice which, as anyone who caught the Massive Attack tour knows, is as shiver-inducing as ever. It’s a gorgeous song, produced by former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler, and you can watch the video which was shot in London’s famed RAK Studios, below.

Sam Lee’s new album, Old Wow, will be out January 31 via Cooking Vinyl.
