Cold Cave share new single "Promised Land"; tour starts this weekend

Cold Cave has just shared new single “Promised Land,” as well as its music video. Between the banging piano bassline and Amy Lee’s backing vocals sweetening Wes Eisold’s baritone, there’s a distinct Sisters of Mercy vibe with this one and it’s pretty irresistible. (Not that they didn’t lean that way already.) Cue the smoke machine and check that out below.

The single also comes to remind us that Cold Cave’s tour starts this Sunday (2/17) in San Francisco. These are full band shows, with Wes, Amy, Nils Blue, Ryan McMahon and Anthony Anzaldo (Ceremony), and on all dates are ADULT. and Vowws (who replace originally announced openers Sextile). The NYC stop, Brooklyn Steel on March 4, also includes Psychic TV, making for a pretty killer night (tickets).
