Charlottesville Concert

Among the many tributes happening for the victims of the recent tragedy in Charlottesville is the big “Concert For Charlottesville: An Evening of Music and Unity” on September 24 at UVA Scott Stadium in Charlottesville. The lineup includes Dave Matthews Band, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Chris Stapleton, Ariana Grande, The Roots, Brittany Howard (of Alabama Shakes), Cage the Elephant, and special guests.

Entry is free, but donations are encouraged and all proceeds will benefit the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation. “Beneficiaries of the fund will include victims of the events in Charlottesville on August 11 and 12, their families, first responders, and organizations devoted to the promotion of healing, unity and justice locally and nationwide.” You can request tickets and make a donation HERE.

Speaking of Justin Timberlake, The xx just covered “My Love” (and worked in parts of “LoveStoned”) at the BBC Live Lounge. Watch:
