Conor Oberst has released a new song as part of the second installment of Amazon's "Produced By" series, which pairs a single producer with four different artists for a new song with each of them. The producer for this edition is Simone Felice. Conor's new song is the finished version of "LAX," which previously appeared in demo form and was covered by Ethan Hawke for the movie Juliet, Naked. This new version has backing vocals by Phoebe Bridgers, and also features James Felice on piano and David Baron on keyboards. It's a very pretty, somber piano ballad that would've fit well on Conor's Ruminations, and it sounds especially great when he harmonizes with Phoebe. Listen below.

Simon Felice's edition of the "Produced By" will also include new songs this week by Phoebe Bridgers, The Felice Brothers, and Wesley Schultz of the Lumineers. Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, Phoebe Bridgers just released the boygenius EP with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, and the three of them are touring soon.
