Converge's J Bannon's favorite albums of 2019

Converge frontman J Bannon has had a busy year with his Wear Your Wounds project in 2019, releasing Rust on the Gates of Heaven, the follow-up to their 2017 debut WYW, in July, and touring with Uniform, Xasthur, and Author & Punisher. Converge, who released their first album in five years, The Dusk In Us, in 2017, are also teasing “a monster of a year for the Converge universe” in 2020, so stay tuned for more on that.

Meanwhile, Jacob shared “a list of music that made an impact on me in 2019,” including albums from Cave In, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Chromatics, Swans, Kate Tempest, Lana Del Rey, Blood Incantation, Chelsea Wolfe, Purple Mountains, Spirit Adrift, Mizmor, Better Oblivion Community Center, Greet Death, Dead To A Dying World, Frozen Soul, and more.
